The key points of CPV’s strategy to achieve this are:
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental legislation, regulations, legal, internal and external stakeholder requirements are understood and met.
- Implement measures to prevent pollution and reduce emissions, waste and other environmental impacts.
- Adopt best practices in waste management, including reduction, reuse, and recycling initiatives.
- Optimise the use of resources, including energy, water, and raw materials, to minimise environmental impact.
- Promote the use of more environmentally friendly and sustainable products for our customers to reduce the long-term impact to the environment.
- Set and review environmental objectives and targets regularly to drive continual improvement.
- Monitor, measure and report on environmental performance with the management team, setting out actions to improve performance where needed.
- Provide training and resources to employees to enhance their awareness and understanding of environmental issues and responsibilities.
- Communicate openly with stakeholders about CPV’s environmental performance and initiatives.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and other partners to promote environmentally responsible practices throughout the supply chain.
- Implement and maintain an Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with ISO 14001 requirements.
Top management are committed to the progress towards these goals through teamwork and effective communication. Regular meetings will be held by top management to review the company’s environmental performance and put in action where necessary.
